Session 1 - ADHD Screening
60 minutes | $250 (Medicare rebate $98.95)
Before this session
You will receive five ADHD screening assessments
to complete online at home.
Please scan and email Anna any school reports
you might have to:
anna@abpsychology.com.au
During the session we will:
- Review your screening results.
- Discuss your ADHD concerns and history.
- Explore how attention, organisation, and emotional regulation as affected your daily life.
At the end of this session
We will discuss whether a full ADHD diagnostic assessment is recommended.

Session 2 - Multiple Assessment Review
60 minutes | $250 (Medicare rebate $98.95)
Before this session
You will complete some additional psychological screening assessments at home, over the course of a week.
These explore factors that may influence ADHD, such as:
- mood and anxiety,
- sleep and stress,
- impulsivity and emotional regulation,
- trauma history,
- autism traits, and
- general wellbeing.
During this session
We will review your latest assessment results.
At the end of this session
We will discuss whether to proceed to the structured interview in step 3.

Session 3 - ADHD Diagnostic Interview
120 minutes | $450 (Medicare rebate $98.95)
This structured clinical interview is used world-wide.
During this interview, a support person who ideally knew you as a child (before age 12), may be invited to contribute examples of your ADHD symptoms.
Before this session
Remember to invite you support person
(parent, sibling, or life partner).
During the session
We will examine your ADHD symptoms
in childhood and adulthood,
and how they affect daily life.

After this session, you are on your way to a formal diagnosis!

ADHD: Assessment Report
120 minutes | $450
After the diagnostic interview Anna prepares a written report for you and your referring GP.
This report combines all the information and assessments collected over the course of the first 3 sessions.
The Report Outlines
- Diagnostic outcome.
- Summary of assessment findings.
- Interpretation of assessment results.
- Recommendations for treatment and support.
Once the Report is Ready
Anna will contact you for the report payment.
This will be within 2 weeks of session 3.
Then the report will be released to you and a copy emailed to your referring GP.

ADHD: Formal Diagnosis
Traditionally in Australia, a psychiatrist (interested in ADHD), could make an ADHD formal diagnosis.
Since 01/12/2025 in QLD, a specialist ADHD GP may now also make a formal diagnosis.
Once Formally Diagnosed
Medication may be prescribed.
Accommodations may be applied for in education institutions or work places (e.g. for extra time or other extensions).
GP ADHD Diagnosis
If you decide to pursue a formal diagnosis the first person to approach is your usual QLD GP.
If your GP does not have the training or interest in ADHD, and does not feel comfortable to diagnose, even with Anna’s comprehensive report, Anna has a list of specialist ADHD GPs, for you to choose from.
Psychiatrist ADHD Diagnosis
If there are any issues, identified during the comprehensive assessments that indicate the need for your to rather be seen by a psychiatirst, Anna will explain why and provide you with a list of ADHD psychiatirst to choose from.

Before this Session
Anna will email/text you some online assessments to do before this session.
Medicare-Rebated Clients
Medicare rebates sessions 50mins or longer.
If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan referral from your GP,
you qualify for a Medicare rebate ($98.95).
Private Clients
If you wish to pay privately,
Anna will email you a receipt to use with your Health Insurer if your wish.

You are welcome to book a session ‘On Anna’s Couch’,
a Video session, or a Phone session.
Private Clients

Medicare-Rebated Clients
If you haven’t seen Anna in the past 3 months,
please text her after you make your booking below,
so that she can check
if you still have rebates left on your last referral,
or if you need to see your usual GP for a new referral.
